Title: Lower Missouri River Archaeology and History Conference at Fort Osage
Type of Event: 1st Annual Conference. Theme: Cultural and Historical Resources of the Lower Missouri. The conference will be hosted in conjunction with the 200th anniversary of the founding of Fort Osage. A commemoration ceremony will take place at 1PM on September 6, and conference attendees will be welcome to attend. Re-enactors representing the U.S. Army and militia in 1808 will be present in the park performing various activities.
